Psychedelic Trips To Death

Formed in 2010, Psychedelic Trips To Death began to write and perform music as a trio. After plenty of shows the band recorded and released their first full length album ‘Malibu’, a compilation of early experimentation, in 2012. Following the release of the first album they shared the stage with bands as The Black Angels, The Underground Youth, Singapore Sling, ILiKETRAiNS…

In 2014 ‘Love & Death’ EP came out to signify the band’s new sound. The band introduced the use of synths and drum machine in their instrumentation. A performance at Berlin Psych Fest followed up.

Blood For Blood’, the second full length album was recorded in 2016 and self released in 2017. Its song ‘The Flesh’ was included in Fuzz Club’s compilation ‘ The Reverb Conspiracy Vol. 5 ‘ (Likened to a modern-day Nuggets series and hailed by The Vinyl Factory as “a time-capsule-like documentation of modern psych”).

Currently Psychedelic Trips To Death are in the process of making their third album, as a quartet. With this record the band shifted to a more mature yet experimental sound, also approaching the production quality that they were in search of. Alike the previous album, this one was also recorded entirely live with some overdubs of guitars, saxophone and percussion

Psychedelic Trips To Death are Konstantinos Iosifidis (Lostinthe), Thanasis Sampaziotis (Macubert), Panos Anastasiadis, Giannis Rematas.
