Οι Cheek By Jowl είναι ένα αγγλόφωνο funk pop rock συγκρότημα με blues-soul στοιχεία και επιρροές από τη παγκόσμια pop σκηνή. Σχηματίστηκαν στη Θεσσαλονίκη την Άνοιξη του 2015 και σε αυτό το χρονικό διάστημα ενεργής παρουσίας του συγκροτήματος πραγματοποιήθηκαν αρκετά lives και συνεργασίες σε γνωστές μουσικές σκηνές στη Θεσσαλονίκη (Koza Mostra, Blues Wire, Stella) και στην Αθήνα (Schoolwave). Τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2016 παρουσιάσανε το πρώτο τους EP καθώς πρόσφατα παρουσίασαν το πρώτο τους single “Old Man Goes Funk” μαζί με βίντεο κλιπ. Τον Nοέμβριο του 2018 συμμετείχαν στο πρώτο Music Showcase Greece και τον Μάιο του 2019 στο SKG Bridges στο WE. Στη παρούσα φάση έχει ξεκινήσει η δημιουργία και η ηχογράφηση του πρώτου τους album.
Cheek By Jowl is a funk/rock band from Thessaloniki, Greece with blues-soul influences from the worldwide pop scene. They were formed in 2015 and in that short time of their activity they had many lives and cooperated with other bands at festivals and music scenes in Thessaloniki and Athens. (Schoolwave, Music Showcase Greece, Street Mode Festival, Picnic Festival). They released their first EP in September of 2016 and recently their latest video clip “Old Man Goes Funk”. On November of 2018 played at the first Music Showcase Greece and on May of 2019 at the SKG Bridges festival at WE. At this time they are recording their first album.
