Oι Entropia Utopia δημιουργήθηκαν το 2001 από τον Σταμάτη Πρατσινάκη και τον Πάρη Παπαδόπουλο. Το γκρουπ επέλεξε εκείνη την εποχή τη μουσική του ταυτότητα που ήταν progressive rock/metal με αγγλικό στίχο. Το ίδιο ύφος έχει ως σήμερα.

Μετά από κάποιες αλλαγές στα μέλη, το συγκρότημα έβγαλε το πρώτο του ομώνυμο demo το 2004 και το δεύτερο με τίτλο “weirdom” το 2005. To δεύτερο demo ήταν demo του μήνα στο ελληνικό metal hammer. Τα μέλη τότε ήταν ο Σταμάτης Πρατσινάκης στο φλάουτο, στα πλήκτρα, στα φωνητικά και στη σύνθεση, ο Πάρης Παπαδόπουλος στις κιθάρες, ο Κώστας Γεωργιάδης στις κιθάρες, ο Στέλιος Μικέδης στο μπάσο και ο Κώστας Πασαχίδης στα ντραμς. Το 2006 η μπάντα έπαιξε μερικά live με τους dead soul tribe στην Αθήνα και τη Θεσσαλονίκη όπως και με τους wastefall και τους endless utopia στο empire club και στο 8ball music club. Επίσης η μπάντα συμμετείχε σε διάφορα άλλα live σε πανεπιστημιακούς χώρους. To 2007 μετά από κάποια live στη βάρδια η μπάντα λόγο διαφωνιών μεταξύ των μελών της διαλύθηκε.

Το 2014 ο Σταμάτης Πρατσινάκης βρήκε καινούρια μέλη: τους Λευτέρη Μαρκαντωνάτο και Γιώργο Μπαλτά στις κιθάρες και στα ντραμς αντίστοιχα. Τότε η μπάντα κυκλοφόρησε από την Tech Killa records το άλμπουμ “The flourishng of Thesis and Antithesis” που ηχογραφήθηκε στο massroom studio. Η Μαρία Λώτη έκανε κάποια δεύτερα φωνητικά στο άλμπουμ που ήταν και το πρώτο full length. Η μπάντα είναι αδρανής αυτόν τον καιρό λόγω έλλειψης χρόνου από τα μέλη του γκρουπ. Ο Σταμάτης Πρατσινάκης έκανε κάποιες ηχογραφήσεις που είναι διαθέσιμες μόνο online.

Entropia Utopia was created in 2001 by Stamatis Pratsinakis and Paris Papadopoulos. The group chose at that time its musical identity which was progressive rock / metal with English lyrics.

After some changes in the members, the band released its first demo of the same name in 2004 and the second entitled “weirdom” in 2005. The second demo was the demo of the month in Greek metal hammer. The members at that time were Stamatis Pratsinakis on flute, keyboards, vocals and composition, Paris Papadopoulos on guitars, Costas Georgiadis on guitars, Stelios Mikedis on bass and Costas Pasachidis on drums. In 2006 the band played some live with the dead soul tribe in Athens and Thessaloniki as well as with the wastefall and endless utopia at the empire club and the 8ball music club. The band also participated in various other live shows on campus. In 2007, after a live shift, the band disbanded due to disagreements between its members.

In 2014 Stamatis Pratsinakis found new members: Lefteris Markantonatos and George Baltas on guitars and drums respectively. Then the band released from Tech Killa records the album “The Flourishing of Thesis and Antithesis” which was recorded in the massroom studio. Maria Loti did some second vocals on the album which was also the first full length. The cd got a grade of 8 from the Greek metal hammer. The band is inactive at the moment due to lack of time by the band members. Stamatis Pratsinakis continued some recordings which are available online only.
