Οι Cargo Lift ιδρύονται το φθινόπωρο του 2016 στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Τον Απρίλιο του 2017 ηχογραφούν τα πρώτα τους κομμάτια, τα οποία περιλαμβάνονται στο EP “First”, και αφιερώνουν τη χρονιά, καθώς και το 2018 στις πρώτες τους live εμφανίσεις στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Το 2019, περισσότερο κατασταλαγμένοι σχετικά με τη χημεία και το όραμα της μπάντας, κυκλοφορούν τη δεύτερη τους δουλειά, το “Disguised” EP, καθώς και το πρώτο τους video clip, για το τραγούδι “I Won’t Fall”. Τόσο το ΕΡ όσο και το video clip λαμβάνουν ενθαρρυντικές κριτικές από τύπο και fans, δίνοντας ώθηση στην μπάντα για περαιτέρω εμφανίσεις σε Θεσσαλονίκη και Ξάνθη, μαζί με μπάντες όπως Puta Volcano, Dendrites, Jailcat, SiXforNinE, Supersoul, Lotus Who?, Low Treble κ.ά.

Τα τέλη του 2019 βρίσκουν τους Cargo Lift να δουλεύουν πάνω σε νέο υλικό, το οποίο προορίζεται για τον πρώτοFull Length δίσκο τους. Το ντεμπούτο τους, με τίτλο “THEN” θα πάρει σάρκα και οστά περίπου έναν χρόνο μετά, με την μπάντα να δουλεύει πυρετωδώς το υλικό της μέσα στο στιγματισμένο από τον Covid-19, 2020. Στον δίσκο περιλαμβάνονται 9 κομμάτια, τα οποία στο σύνολό τους καλύπτουν 42 λεπτά ακρόασης, αγγίζοντας ποικίλες συχνότητες του heavy rock φάσματος. Ο ήχος των Cargo Lift είναι επηρεασμένος από καλλιτέχνες όπως Faith No More, Tool, Deftones, Muse, Royal Blood, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age και πολλά άλλα μεγάλα ονόματα του σύγχρονου rock ήχου. Το “THEN” αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει τις πρώτες εβδομάδες του 2021.

Cargo Lift are formed in autumn of 2016 in Thessaloniki, Greece. They compose their first songs in April of 2017, which are included in the “First” EP. The rest of the year, as well as 2018, is dedicated to their first live shows. In 2019, being more settled about their chemistry and band vision, they record their following work, the “Disguised” EP, as well as their first video clip, for the song ”I Won’t Fall”. Both the EP and video clip receive promising reviews from press and fans, pushing the band forward, resulting in live shows with bands such as Puta Volcano, Dendrites, Jailcat, SiXforNinE, Supersoul, Lotus Who?, Low Treble, and more.

In late 2019, Cargo Lift start working on material for their first Full Length album. Their debut LP, entitled “THEN” comes into existence almost a year later, with the band working non-stop during the Covid-19 stigmatized year, 2020. The album features 9 tracks, which cover 42 minutes of music, touching multiple frequencies of the heavy rock spectrum. The sound of Cargo Lift is influenced by bands like Faith No More, Tool, Deftones, Muse, Royal Blood, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, and many more names of the contemporary rock sound. “THEN” is expected to be released in the first weeks of 2021.
