Οι Noma Nloko είναι μια τριμελής μπάντα, εκ Θεσσαλονίκης, που κινείται στα γενικότερα πλαίσια του (κατά βάσιν) ηλεκτρικού Μπλουζ. Ο ήχος χαρακτηρίζεται από ατέλειωτα σόλο, ανοιχτές δομές και μορφές που προκύπτουν από την ιδιάζουσα ανάγνωση των, γραπτών και άγραφων, “κανόνων” της Μπλουζ μουσικής. Αποτελείται από τους: Johnny Chrima (κιθάρα/φωνή), Gianni Yann (μπάσο/φωνητικά) και Lia Amprikidou (τύμπανα/φωνητικά). Δημιουργήθηκε περί τα μέσα του 2019, στον κοινό τόπο της αγάπης για τη Μπλουζ και της τάσης για τζαμάρισμα, πέρα από μορφολογικούς και απόλυτους ειδολογικούς περιορισμούς. Από το ξεκίνημα, η μπάντα έχει εμφανιστεί live, τόσο σε μουσικές σκηνές της Θεσσαλονίκης όσο και στους δρόμους διαφόρων πόλεων ανά την Ελλάδα, ενώ έχουν υλικό τους online, στο κανάλι τους στο YouTube και στο IGTV.

Noma Nloko is a trio, from Thessaloniki, Greece, playing what can roughly be described as electric Blues. Their sound is characterised by infinite soloing, open musical forms and structures that derive from mis-reading what is generally accepted as the “canon” in Blues music. Noma Nloko consist of: Johnny Chrima (guitar/vocals), Gianni Yann (bass/vocals) and Lia Amprikidou (drums/vocals). Found halfway through 2019, the trio is built on the grounds of the love for Blues music and the need to jam together, without being limited by any particular music form or genre. Since the beginning they’ve played several shows, performed live on the streets of various locations throughout Greece and have put out several demos/live jams, both on their YouTube channel & IGTV.
