Οι The Crimson Vibes είναι μια μπάντα από τη Θεσσαλονίκη. Ιδρύθηκε κάπου στο 2013, με αρχικό line up τους Νίκο Θωμαΐδη (Κιθάρα/Φωνή), Γιώργο Θωμαΐδη (Πλήκτρα/Synthesizers), τον Βαγγέλη Αγγέλου (Mπάσο), τον Γιώργο Βασιλειάδη (Κιθάρα) και τον Γιώργο Μερσίνη (Drums).

Τον χειμώνα του 2013 έκαναν το πρώτο τους μουσικό έργο, που κυκλοφόρησαν μόνοι τους στο YouTube, το ομώνυμο EP, “The Crimson Vibes”.

Εμφανίστηκαν σε διάφορους χώρους της Θεσσαλονίκης, παρουσιάζοντας τον ήχο τους μέσα από το, τότε νεόδμητο, ΕΡ τους. Το 2014 άλλαξαν drummer, στρατολογώντας τον φίλο Σωτήρη Μανώλη, συνεχίζοντας κυρίως τις live εμφανίσεις.

Το 2015 έθεσαν τη μουσική τους πορεία σε παύση, λόγω διάφορων πρακτικών ζητημάτων, μέχρι που ήρθε το 2018.

Το 2018 λοιπόν, με την αναδόμηση και συμμετοχή του Φώτη Μαυρουδάκη στα drums, καθώς και την απώλεια 2ου κιθαρίστα, επανενώθηκαν, συνθέτοντας ύστερα από κόπο, μπύρες και πολύ τζαμάρισμα, το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ με τίτλο “Canned Thoughts for the Emotionally Challenged”, το οποίο ολοκληρώθηκε τον Οκτώβριο του 2020 και παράχθηκε στα Blueberry Productions Co., στη Θεσσαλονίκη.

The Crimson Vibes are a band based in Thessaloniki. Founded circa 2013, with the first line-up being Nick (Guitar & Vocals) and George Thomaides (Keys & Synths), Vaggelis Aggelou (Bass Guitar), George Vasiliadis (Guitar) and George Mersinis (Drums).

In the winter of 2013, they produced their first music work, self-distributed via YouTube platform, a self-titled EP, “The Crimson Vibes”.

They appeared around Thesaloniki, presenting their sound through their, then-newly EP. In 2014 the drummer changed, recruiting the friend Sotiris Manolis, continuing mostly with live appearances.

In 2015, their music course was set to a pause, due to workable issues, until 2018.

In 2018, with the reconstruction of the band, Fotis Mavroudakis was recruited as a new drummer, and with no second guitarist, they composed, after a lot of beers and jamming, their first album titled “Canned Thoughts for the Emotionally Challenged”, which was completed in October of 2020, produced and mixed @ Blueberry Prodoctions Co., Thessaloniki.
