Ο Beatpain (κατά κόσμον Παναγιώτης Τέγος) άρχισε να παράγει μουσική από τις αρχές του 2010. Αυτοδίδακτος, επίμονος και με αγάπη για τη μουσική και το ρυθμό, ασχολείται με το beatmaking και τη μουσική δειγματοληψία, όλα με βάση το βινύλιο. Μέσα από μια προσωπική συλλογή, άνω των 300 βινυλίων, ήρθε η πρώτη ολοκληρωμένη δουλειά, τον Μάιο του 2019, με τίτλο ‘Rhythmosomatic’. Το Rhythmosomatic είναι το πρώτο προσωπικό του άλμπουμ με βάση δείγματα βινυλίων. Περιλαμβάνει δείγματα μουσικής όπως Jazz και Soul, hip hop beats, drums breaks από την δεκαετία του ’70 όπως επίσης και μία φωνητική δόση από σατιρικό χιούμορ. Όσον αφορά τον τίτλο του άλμπουμ, ένα απόφθεγμα περιλαμβάνεται μέσα του.

“Η σωματική θεωρία είναι μια θεωρία της ανθρώπινης κοινωνικής συμπεριφοράς με την οποία οι συναισθηματικές διαδικασίες μπορούν να κατευθύνουν τη συμπεριφορά, ιδιαίτερα τη λήψη αποφάσεων.”

Beatpain began producing music from the beginning of 2010. Self-taught, persistent and with love for music and rhythm, he is involved with beatmaking and music sampling, all based on vinyl. Through a personal collection of over 300 vinyls, came the first full-length work, in May 2019, entitled ‘Rhythmosomatic’. Rhythmosomatic is his first vinyl sampled based album. Contains a number of jazz & soul sound chops, hip hop beats, drum breaks from the far reach of the 70’s as well as a small vocal dose of satirical humor. As the for the title, a quote stands within. “Somatic theory is a theory of human social behavior by which emotional processes can guide behavior, particularly decision-making.”
