Η Veego Records ανακοινώνει το πρώτο studio album του Sonny Touch μετά από εννέα χρόνια.
Κυκλοφορώντας στις κυριότερες streaming πλατφόρμες στις 30 Ιουνίου και στον περιορισμένο αριθμό των 200 βινυλίων στα τέλη Αυγούστου, το Leave Space for the little Animals, κατέλαβε ήδη μια σημαντική θέση στην δισκογραφία του Sonny.
Ο κιθαρίστας, τραγουδιστής και συνθέτης Sonny Touch, μεγάλωσε στη Θεσσαλονίκη και αυτή τη στιγμή ζει στο Ελσίνκι μετά από 4 χρόνια διαμονής στο Λονδίνο. Ο Sonny έχει παίξει σε διάφορα φεστιβάλ και συναυλιακούς χώρους στην Ευρώπη (Fusion festival – Berlin, O2 Academy, The Garage – London) για να αναφέρουμε μερικά.
Μέσω του Leave Space for the Little Animals, ο Sonny Touch παρουσιάζει ένα album με καθαρά προσωπικό ύφος και ήχο, αντικατοπτρίζοντας τις μουσικές επιρροές του. Folk, Blues & Boogie, Post Punk/Rock και New Orleans R&B αναμιγνύονται έξυπνα με Voodoo τύμπανα και Latin κρουστά, όλα παιγμένα με το προσωπικό του ύφος.
Το album ηχογραφήθηκε μεταξύ 2011 – 2017 σε διάφορες τοποθεσίες στην Ελλάδα και το Λονδίνο χρησιμοποιώντας μια ευρεία γκάμα αναλογικών μηχανημάτων τα οποία συνετέλεσαν στην έξοχη παραγωγή του δίσκου.
Ο Sonny έγραψε όλους τους στίχους και τη μουσική για το album και συμμετείχε στην παραγωγή στο πλευρό του Χρύσανθου Χριστοδούλου. Το μάστερινγκ έγινε από τους Τίτο Καργιωτάκη και Χρήστο Χαρμπίλλα στα Royal Alzheimer Hall studios στη Θεσαλονίκη.
Η επιμέλεια του εξωφύλλου έγινε στο Replica Studio από τους Βασίλη Μητσιόπουλο και Άννα Γερμανού.

Veego Records announces Sonny Touch’s first studio album in 9 years. Released on all major streaming platforms on June 30th and on a limited number of 200 copies on vinyl at the end of August, Leave Space for the Little Animals inhabits an exciting place in Sonny’s discography.
Singer, song-writer and guitarist Sonny Touch, originally from Thessaloniki, is now based in Helsinki after spending 4 years in London. He has collaborated with the National Greek Theatre and has recorded soundtracks for documentary films and dance theatre pieces. During September 2014 – April 2015, he collaborated with Yiannis Aggelakas on his new album which was released in November 2016.
Leave Space for the little Animals is a real concept album in which the listener is being discouraged to listen to it in “fast-forward” mode. Through Leave Space for the Little Animals, Sonny Touch is presenting an album with an entirely personal touch and sound, clearly referencing his musical influences. Folk, Blues & Boogie, Post Punk & Rock and New Orleans R&B mixed with Voodoo Drums and Latin Percussion all presented in his own unique way.
Recorded between 2011 – 2017 at various locations in Greece and london using a wide range of vintage and analogue equipment, the album has an excellent production. Sonny has performed in various festivals and venues in Europe including Fusion festival in Berlin, O2 Academy and the Garage in London to name a few.
Sonny wrote all lyrics and music and participated in the production alongside Chrysanthos Christodoulou. The album was mastered by Titos Kargiotakis and Christos Harbillas at Royal Alzheimer Hall studios in Thessaloniki.
