Unshaped_Ahead είναι το ηλεκτροακουστικό σόλο project του Δήμου Βρύζα, βιολιστή από τη Θεσσαλονίκη. Με βάση το βιολί τα κομμάτια χτίζονται ως επί το πλείστον με την τεχνική του Live-looping. Ο αυτοσχεδιασμός αποτελεί βασικό στοιχείο αυτής της μουσικής, τυχαία |ατυχήματα|, drone ήχοι, μίνιμαλ μελωδίες, ambient/noise ατμόσφαιρες και ρυθμός είναι επίσης σημαντικά |εργαλεία| που χαρακτηρίζουν το project. Με βάση τη Θεσσαλονίκη, το project ξεκίνησε το 2013. Ακολούθησαν συναυλίες σε Ελλάδα, Πορτογαλία, Γερμανία, Ισπανία και Ελβετία.

Το 2015 ηχογραφήθηκε το πρώτο άλμπουμ με τίτλο Baul και είναι διαθέσιμο για Free download.

Το καλοκαίρι του 2018 ηχογραφήθηκε το δεύτερο άλμπουμ με τίτλο “8 Cantons” το οποίο κυκλοφόρεί σε βινύλιο και ιντερνετικά από τον Ιανουάριο του 2019. https://unshapedahead.bandcamp.com/album/8-cantons

Unshaped_Ahead is the solo music project of Dimos Vryzas, violinist from Thessaloniki/Greece. The project is based on minimal melodies, ambient/noise sounds and improvisation. The violin is the main instrument being used. Live looping is the technique to create the songs. Other instruments, samples or spoken words are used from time to time during the gigs. Improvisation is a major element of the project. Random “accidents”, drone sounds and rhythm are also important “tools” of this music. The project was created in August 2013 in Thessaloniki. Unshaped_Ahead made several tours (Portugal, Spain, Germany, Switzerland) and collaborated with lots of artists (musicians, painters, graphic designers etc).
